Can anybody tell if DirectX6 is the cause of the graphic bugs in GPL???

voodoo2 dx6 drivers cause mouse anomalies in the menu's, but don't affect
the race.
I had the graphic problems with DX5, until I downloaded the new drivers for my
CL V2 12 M card. Glide 2.53 was included in these drivers and the changing
***pit side flashing stopped. It was rock solid.
Also did a DX6 upgrade after that and it's still graphically solid. You may
want to look for a revised set of 3dfx drivers and ensure the 2.53 or higher
version of Glide is included.

I got two A-Trends Helios V2 12mb running in SLI mode.
1024x768 and using newest beta drivers from 3Dfx.
WinGlide 2.x driver ver. 2.54 and WinGlide 3.x ver. 3.01.
Only problem is the mouse leaving small graphical errors
in the menus which are 640x480 btw.
When driving everything looks just beautiful :)
