Can you use the TM GP1 wheel with GPL, shifting using the buttons and braking and accelerating with the paddles? CB

While I'm certainly no expert at racing sims, I was very pleasantly suprised at the GP1 wheel and it's use with GPL. It works quite well by itself and the price ($30 at Comp USA) can't be beat. In addition, I understand that you can add a pair of pedals later and use the paddles to shift with. Check out Allison's site for details. http://nh.ultranet.com/~alison/gpl/ Joe

People are complaining about the "paddles" not working for gear shifts because they've added pedals to a GP1 (I assume) and would like something closer to the modern F1 setup. Rick

Papy sadly scrapped this feature, which was available in all earlier products (ICR2,N2). I'm hoping, that somehow they could make it available again in GPL... l8er ronny -- Toys'R'Us '99: "So, would you like a hand gun with that action figure, kiddo?" |\ _,,,---,,_ I want to die like my Grandfather, ZZZzz /,`.-'`' -. ;-;;,_ in his sleep. |,4- ) )-,_. ,\ ( `'-' Not like the people in his car, '---''(_/--' `-'\_) screaming their heads off!

You can add pedals, in fact I'm using some CH pedals with my GP1. You won't, however, be able to shift with the GP1 paddles, you'll have to use the buttons on the wheel for that. I do use the left paddle for clutch tho. Trips
