I'm thinking about buying MGPRS2 - I already own F1RS and am wondering if it different enough to warrant spending more money. Also, can you change the resolution? - I have SLI and would imagine it looks great at high-res, Answers by email please!
Mine should arrive in a few days from the UK. I HAVE to have it. :-) Dave DmndDave >I'm thinking about buying MGPRS2 - I already own F1RS and am wondering if it >different enough to warrant spending more money. >Also, can you change the resolution? - I have SLI and would imagine it looks >great at high-res, >Answers by email please!

Yes, it is good. The differences are, on the face of it, quite subtle in that the game LOOKS almost identical, but they add up to a much better sim than F1RS. It should have been an upgrade but it's still worth the money. >I'm thinking about buying MGPRS2 - I already own F1RS and am wondering if it >different enough to warrant spending more money. >Also, can you change the resolution? - I have SLI and would imagine it looks >great at high-res, >Answers by email please!

Does it still have glue-like grass? Robin

Take your time before making a decision on this one. At first it appears to be exactly the same as F1RS minus the FIA licence. But download the paint jobs, photos and icons from http://www.lkeane.freeserve.co.uk/ to get it looking right and then do some driving. They've fixed a load of bugs, improved the graphics but most importantly they've improved the driving model. I'm just getting the hang of the difference. The worst thing is that there aren't any setting posted anywhere I know of yet. Guy Cote, are you going to do some for this one (please)? Paul

Guy says on his web site that he's begun work on them and they should be appearing in the near future. One track at a time I'm sure. Yes the grass IS a conundrum.
