I purchased GPL for $24.99 last week (Go EB!) and I was wondering how I go about capturing screenshots. I have been able to capture replays, but I just want one frame. I've seen so many screenshots floating around so I know there must ba a way. Does anyone know? I want to capture a shot of my car midair at Nurburgring. I've looked through the manual and strategy guide, but I didn't see anything. I didn't read them cover to cover so might have missed it. Can you blame me, I was busy racing! :) Shaun
I think print_screen will do it. It will save the files as PBF(?) files i think. You will then find a program to convert them. Correct me if Im wrong. :)

Here's what to do: Whilst in GPL, press "PrintScr" on your keyboard to take a snapshot of the current screen. Exit the program, and go to DOS. Find the gpl directory, and type: dir *.pbf - this will list all pbf files in the directory. (If you've taken more than one "screenshot", then there will be multiple .pbf files: gplss01, gplss02, gplss03..) Then type "PBF2TGA filename.PBF mygplpic" (where "filename" is the name of the pbf file, and "mygplpic" is the name of the image you are creating.) The resulting image will be in TGA format, so to put on a webpage, or send to a friend, it would be best to convert using a graphics app into a JPG file as the TGA's are VERY large. There you go! doktorB http://webhome.idirect.com/~drbryan/gpl For the GPL demo track files(Watkins Glen AND Monza), FAQs,demo help, release date updates, preview pics, GPL box covers and more! new ** GPL System Performace Test ** This weeks Poll-of-the-Week: "Where are you getting your copy of GPL from?" ------ >Paul Ryder wrote >GPL Comes with the conversion program How does this converter work...there are no details on how to use it? <an explanation of converting screen shots...> Has anyone gotten this to work with a Rendition V1000 card? I've tried it and get a scrambled image (reminiscent of ICR2/N2)... NAR Northeast Regional Contest Board site - points and more...

Even easier,go to your GPL directory, C:SIERRA\GPL, find the xxx.pbf file you want to convert and drag and drop it on pbf2tga.exe.A few seconds later a tga file appears!

Better yet, double click the .PBF file and when prompted for the program to use browse and select PBF2TGA.EXE. From then on you'll be able to just double click the PBF files and have them automatically converted to TGA. - Eric
I have a similar problem with my Orchid Righteous 2.
