Looking for local people to race with/talk with when GPL finally hits our
shores. Speaking of which, anyone know when? My local software shop have
no clue. I'd like to support Aussie retailers, but if they don't get it
soon it will be tempting to order it direct from the US.
I'm in Melbourne, BTW, so as far as direct connect goes, I'm looking for
people in the 03 area. However, internet play should allow anyone on the
same backbone to get a reasonable connection, I hope, so is anyone
interested in establishing or has already established an Oz racing league?
As a rough guide to ability, my best Watkins Glen time is down to 1:09.22 in
the Lotus. I can see how to go faster, but my car control ain't up to it
yet. I might add that there is no way I can consistently get that sort of
time! I'm hoping that being able to set up the car will help improve
consistency as well as speed.
