200mmx,64meg ram, 8meg thriller. All graphics, no ai cars solid 36+fps. Minimum graphics, with textures on -track,wall,groove,skid marks, tire, driver arms, beveled tires. No dynamic or specular effects. Minmum bias, few objects. Hmmm doesn't look so good but gets 25fps around a couple cars, 20 fps in a small pack and 5 in a crash. Not great but IMO if you want to drive a state of the art sim you should realize you need a state of the art machine. I have only raced a little bit, Monza, and can run in the top ten, when dicing with cars the ai really comes through, they go inside/outside and only ram you when you blow it. My timing in upgrading was a little off, got the game yesterday and today my parts came in- abit bx6 mb, celeron 300a, 128 meg pc100 ram which will be overclocked to 450. I can see it now, all graphics, all cars, all fun. John - laps at the ring in the ferrari - laughing out loud - my family says I have a problem
