ICR2-Fontana-Tires

Help, I'm in the last race of the season, but I have a severe tire heating problem. A few laps out, the right side tires begin to overheat and reach upwards of 300 degrees. any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Have you tried adjusting the camber, lowering the tire pressure slightly on those tires affected, softening the shocks on the right side a bit (remember to try only one thing at a time and see how it works out on a few laps)? Also, are you coming into the corner too fast and getting up high on the wall? Or hearing a lot of wheel noise down low (implying that your scrubbing the tires too much, thereby building up heat)? You could try coming in a little slower and then getting on the gas a little earlier, and see if that maintains your lap speed and keeps the tires a little cooler.

Sorry Dave, They must have taken that site down. You can find lots of tracks at http://expert.cc.purdue.edu/%7Epaxton31/download/files.htm. I verified them this morning. Have fun... ...Ron
