How does GPL look on one of the new Riva TNT cards? Thanks.

REALLY bad, I mean REALLY REALLY bad. The card doesn't support the
standards of GPL, or GPL doesn't supports the standards of the Riva
chipset. Either way, you'll have to run in software mode.

Riva has no standards. Rather the TNT cards comform to the Direct3D and
OpenGL standards of which GPL supports neither. It supports Glide (3dfx) and
Rendition cards.
