GP2 on PII 400

I just upgraded from my P 133 to a PII 400. I can run GP2 with all graphics on FULL and it rocks! What a tremendous difference. I also have the new Matrox Millennium G200 8Mb card but I don't think it has much to do with the increased performance for this game. With all that 'horsepower' GP2 is a totally different game! I can now 'correct' the steering without spinning out, the brakes on the joystick (Flightstick) works fantastic. Just an incredible increase in realism. Also bought Ubi Soft's F1. Graphics are nice but it plays like an arcade game. Will have to give it more time for a better evaluation. Anybody wishing for a real 'gas' in racing sims get a faster CPU. What a difference!!!
Yes I can agree. I went from a p60 to AMD K6 266 and full graphics through a ATI Xpert98 8 meg graphics card. It is a whole different game with the faster CPU and video card! I get 24.6 frame rate and it is awesome I see stuff that I have never seen before. I also have EIDOS Power F1 and it works well also!
