Anyone no if GPL has been released in Canada? Calls to EB generally result
in blank stares, or end of October dates.

I phoned the biggest computer store here in Edmonton and got "I've
never heard of *that* game". So I tried a smaller but trusty store in
the city, and the guy told me to expect it by next Thursday.

I phoned our local Future Shop in Windsor, Ontario here (no EB in the ass end of
Canada!!) and they said if its out in the US the 30th then Canada will get it 3
weeks later after every US distributer gets a copy. Can't wait that long!!! So
I'm crossing the border to Detroit this weekend and burning off some excess US
dollars!!!P.S. phoned ACTLABS too. Finally gonna get my Force RS in 2 weeks as
soon as the shipment comes from Hong Kong. Hot damn!!!!!

payment, since he promised his Liberal govenment would get rid of that

It's here in Ottawa too, or rather it was. When I checked at the
Electronics Boutique at Carlingwood mall this afternoon they said they
had 10 copies in the store yesterday. But they sold out within 45
minutes of hitting the shelves!
During the five minutes I spent in the store talking to the guy at the
counter today, tow other people walked in and asked for Grand Prix
Legends. The counter guy said it must be a really great game judging
just from the number of requests he's had so far.

I am on the waiting list, too, at the EB at Carlingwood Mall for GPL.
CompuCenter may be getting it in sometime this week (thought they tend
to charge more).
