I'm considering purchasing F1 by Ubisoft. Can anyone give me an idea of
how well it will perform on my AMD K6-233, 32 megs RAM, and Diamond
Stealth II with the Rendition Verite 2100 chipset?
Thanks in advance for the information.

There is a demo you can check out..From what I understand it doesn't do
the full
game justice tho. I have a DSII also and the demo ran fine but the trees
had square black
outlines around all of them. It looked like 100's of telephone poles
sticking out everywhere.
F1RS was designed to work with the Glide 3d language that works only with
3DFX based
cards. They did a patch later that allowed cards like the DSII and Riva's
to run F1RS via
D3D. I don't know if they ever got the D3d patch cleaned up so that the
trees and such
no longer show the black outlines.
Anyone else??
