Guys, I finally recieved my Diamond Monster 3D II from UPS today and I must say it is AWESOME!!! I'm having 2 problems though. When I run NHRA Drag Racing I turn everything on the highest level. I turn the detail on the AGP setting. When I go to race everything looks great except the cars are just plain white. There is no detail what so ever. What's the deal??? Second, when I run NASCAR2 with the 3DFX patch everything looks great and runs great until I get into traffic. When I get behind a lot of cars the frames start skipping. It gets pretty annoying. What's the problem?? I'm running a Pentium II 400 with 64MB of RAM, 8MB Video Card, Diamond Monster 3D II with the latest drivers, Direct X6.0 and I have a 36X CD-ROM. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks, Aaron Markham

Make sure that anti-aliasing is turned off. To do so just put SET N2FXAA=0 (I'm pretty sure that's right, check the readme) in the batch file or just run the executable directly. This will do wonders for the frame rate, but you'll probably still see some skipping because it's a beta patch and just doesn't seem to run as well as it should. :( Stay Fast! =SeanS=
Aaron, Since you are using a Voodoo type card with NHRA DR, you should set the textures to low or medium. The AGP setting is for an AGP port using other types of graphics cards. ( I think it works best for the Riva chipset. ) Also, as far as the Voodoo card goes, NHRA DR is built around the 3dfx reference drivers (IMHO) which can be found at www.3dfx.com (as opposed to the hardware specific drivers) My graphics and load times improved 150% when I downloaded the reference drivers. Warning.... this may affect your other 3dfx games BUT it didn't on my PC!! ! As far as N2, I run my game off of the exe file and not the bat file. Tim Deatherage "Admitted Sim ***" .. When I run NHRA Drag Racing I turn everything on the highest level. I turn the detail on are just plain white. There is no detail what so ever. What's the deal??? Aaron Markham
