Is there anything that I can do to change how the cars grip the racing surface in NASCAR 2? It seems like everytime I even get near another car and it slightly bumps me or I bump him, not unlike the Irwin-Irvan battles, we go spinning and out comes the caution. It would seem like there would be a way to set it up [the sim] so that the cars can bump each other more than a little. Anybody have any ideas? Have you tried setting "Realism" and "Damage" to the "Arcarde" setting? Maybe that'll be more to your liking. Kurt
What you'll need to do is try to edit the track.txt file. www.theuspits.com have a good guide to doing this in their FAQ section. Now then, ar eyou talking about bumps as in bump drafting, or bumps as in Days of Thunder's bumping. If you're talking about the DoT bumping, then you are hitting the cars too hard. DoT, while entertaining in the "Eh, its better than nothing." type of way, it was a little too unrealistic. -- Travis Kallner mknight98 on TEN GO MATT KENSETH #17 & THE BURTON BROTHERS #22 & #99!!!
