Does anyone know what network port GPL uses for its tcp/ip multiplayer games. Also Is there a way of changing it. Im trying to UDP map it for wingate thank you Todd.
By default, a GPL server will listen for UDP connections on port 32766, though it opens a new socket with a host-assigned port number over which it actually communicates with the client (this may hamper what you're trying to do). You can change the listening port number by placing a file named core.ini in the same directory as gpl.exe that contains these two lines... [ Communications ] net_server_port = <whatever> Or, you can define a service in the services file (c:\windows\services, generally) as such... papy_mpy_ip <whatever>/udp # Papyrus multiplayer games Randy
