How is GPL performance on laptops? Id like a Sony PCG 731or 735. These are Pentium 200 mmx machines. Is anyone getting acceptable gameplay?

ROBOHAT wrote Actually, the answer you be no... Not because of your PC, but to get actually GPL to run decently, you need a Rendition or Voodoo-chipset video cards. Im about 99% sure there isn't any of them on the laptop market. Still, you will be able to run GPL in "software mode" but don't expect more than 10fps with ALL graphics off. Yes that "off". But if you have a platform for your laptop you could add a 3d accelerator in it and I think now you would be able to run GPL in full detail at over 30fps. - Fran?ois Mnard <ymenard> Good race at the Brickyard! - Official Mentally retarded guy of r.a.s. - Excuse me for my English (I'm French speaking) - Sponsored by http://www.awpss.com/ on the NROS - "People think it must be fun to be a super genius, but they don't realise how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world."--
