GPL does Not work on all Win98 systems according to Papyrus!!

This is what Papyrus replied to the Windows 98 "fix" Just to let you know!! Even with these directions GPL will not work on all Win98 systems. I just got a Sierra "Family Software Catalog" in the mail, and lo and behold, they've got GPL shown and priced at $49.95. I called immediately, and the customer service rep said she thought it was available, but put me on hold to check. She came back to tell me that "they can take pre-release orders, but it looks like it will be released in November." I declined to order it for now, but, who knows, maybe if you order it now, some shipping person will send it out before it's officially released. (I also fully expect to win the lottery.) I'm currently beta testing GPL and have been running it on Win98 for quite some time without any problems. I think the demo was released before or near Win98's release so it was not supported at that time. Thanks John

Although he doesn't say it here, Matt at Papy said that GPL (full version) will work fine under Win98, just that the demo won't. Cheers! Marc

Geez, They are only talking about the DEMO! The full version that is due out probably within a month will definitely work under Windows 98.
