GPL release date?

According to the PC Zone mag I have just received through my door, the release date for Grand Prix Legends is..... Saturday October 17 1998. But then again, when do the PC *** press ever get anything correct? 8-) *Peter* 8-) (NB: remove asterix to e-mail)

.........and since when have publishers released a product on a weekend?!

Yes....but the statement was referring to "release date". Publishers rarely (if ever) "release" on a Saturday.

FYI, Europe release dates for Software are Friday's, probably including Oz/NZ. North America releases are earlier in the week- Tuesday's? Z.

EBworld ( www.ebworld.com ) still says Ocober 15th (a Thursday), so all this talk is pointless. They did have the 17th up for about a day a little while back, but then changed it back..
