Hi,
fairly new P2-400, Riva 128 and Voodoo II 12mb. Say at Atlanta, the
textures are doing really weird things, almost like the regular N2 textures
car-lengths ahead, a billboard just sorta "morphs" as you get closer. Or
you see two very different versions of the pressbox as you drive by.
noticeable flicker.
Haven't messed with N2 much on the new computer, mainly been playing F1RS on
the 3dfx N2 on the old K6-200 w/ the same V2, and don't really remember
anything like this, so I think it's probably some settings for the V2 I had
on the old setup and am missing on the new one. Anyone have any ideas? I'm
hoping it's some of the SST variables or something similar. Or if nothing
else, a way to force the Riva to a higher refresh rate?
Ken - go #43 and #44
is in the default set, and there is also a blue and red STP car too, you'll
see it in the driver list. Looked through and didn't see any other drivers
/ cars. If you hate that green Ford you're stuck in, do like I did and
switch Petty to his STP car, and use the blue 43 to make you a new car.
Real simple to cut and paste and have a #44 Blue Plymouth Road Runner, and
be a teammate of The King :-)
