Can someone please email me some screen shots of N2 with the 3dfx patch? I'm considering buying a 3dfx card but I would love to see some screen shots of it first. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Buy one yesterday! But make sure it is a voodoo and an add on board. There is nothing else on the market that even comes close. Take my word for it, you will NEVER want to play another game without 3DFX EVER AGAIN! IT IS THAT GOOD!

I don't have any screen shots, but I'm running dual 12mb Voodoo-2's (Diamond) and N2 looks AWEsome... Wait till you see it with all 39 cars
Well, it's not THAT good if you ask me. At least not those games that just use the bilinear-filtering and nothing else. Makes it look kinda washed out and smoothed. But with proper lighting and other effects, yes, it does make the graphics look good. - "If the meaning of life was printed in a book, someone would use it to keep the window open."
So you'd sacrifice speed for unwashed-out and jaggy graphics, would you? Hmmmm......some people ARE hard to please! > Well, it's not THAT good if you ask me. Gee... Ive had all graphics and 39 ahead on my P166 w/Rendition V1000 and my whole setup prob. cost less than your 2 VooDoo-2's ;) (jealousy talking, I wish I had a couple Voodoo's) -JH- > I don't have any screen shots, but I'm running dual 12mb Voodoo-2's > (Diamond) and N2 looks AWEsome... Try downloading the lastest Monster 3D II driver from Diamond. My son complained about some thin diagonal yellow lines in some games, and after I installed the lastest drivers, he said they are now gone. You can find them at [link lost in import] On Tue, 4 Aug 1998 07:37:50 -0700, "Dean Williams" >Does anyone get 2 horizontal lines through the***pit when you run the 3DFX >version with all the enhancements turned on? >I do. No, framerate is important and that is the main reason companies should support 3Dfx. But refusing to buy anything that doesn't run 100 fps with tri-linear filtering and mip-mop-interpolation is ridiculous. - "If the meaning of life was printed in a book, someone would use it to keep the window open."
