F1RS tire wear

I've now been driving F1RS for 2/3 of a week and so far I love it! I bumped up the skill to PRO level and turned on damage to intermediate. I ran an Imola race and placed 3rd after starting 22nd (no qualify) and last night screwed up a couple of times at Australia and worked my way back up to sixth, from 22nd again. Both races at 25% distance. Love this game! Is there a way to check tire wear on my car while I'm driving (a'la F5 key in Nascar 2)? Once when practicing at Brazil I kept loosing my back end in every corner so I limped back to the pits to find both rears completely worn out. Tonight while practicing some at Buenes Airies after 17 laps I came into the pits to find my rears about 50% worn. Also, how much tire squeal is aceptable? In Nascar 2 I expected to hear it every corner to know I was pushing just hard enough, but does F1RS dictate a bit more finese? Thanks for the help! TTYL DobeMan
