When you race online..i know you have to dial to the persons computer that is sponsoring the race.Do you have to call their phone number and run up a huge bill on your phone line if you wanta keep racing online??or is there something else you do to connect to someone elses computer without the phone bill thing??

If you really want to race The serious place to race is on NROS on TEN http://www.ten.net/games/nascar/ You pay a monthly or hourly fee go check it out There are around 6000 guys doing it now. Some racing games (MotoRacer for one) will allow to to host or join a TCP/IP connected race. You will need your IP address (your opponent(s)will need it to find you). You can get this information by starting a DOS window and typing "winipcgf" (without the quotation marks) at the prompt (while you're online). I have only done this with MotoRacer, but I'm sure others support it, The Need For Speed II SE comes to mind. Good Luck. I hope this helps. Later... Tont Long

Sorry, to find your IP address, start a DOS window, and type "winipcfg" at the prompt (minus the quotation marks). Tony Long
