Got a new P266II with Win98 replacing a P120 with Win95. Canopus
Total3D (Renditon), run Renddma. The good news - I can run all
graphics, it's great.
The bad news - my car dropped a cylinder. It makes no sense to me
either.
How do I know? I'm a full second slow everywhere. Before, if I
started with no pace lap, I could out accelerate the field by a
healthy margin. Now they walk away from me. I could easily win at
Michigan at 102%. Now I'm midfield at 100%.
The easy trys - I recalibrated in Win 98 and N2 only pressing the gas
halfway, so I know I'm getting ful throttle. I always run the game by
exiting to DOS.
Another symptom. The car also has changed balance. A lot of
understeer.
