Well I went thru an upgrade and could not get the Microsoft Sidewinder
pro 3D to work under windows 95 so I just used it for Nascar2 and ICR2
in DOS, worked fine. I then downloaded the 2.0 software upgrade for the
Sidewinder and now it works under windows 95, but no longer works in dos
for the sims. Jesus, does it ever end. Anyone get the Sidewinder to work
in DOS and Win95? I have tried MSD under dos and it says the device is
disabled. Tried removing the device in device manager, created a second
joystick and mead it look like a 2x, 4button standard joystick and
thought I had it, but still does not work.
Please do not tell me to fo out and buy a $6000.00 racing sim simulated
car. My friend think I am a big enough Geek as it is. Seroiusly, anyone
have any luck with this. Maybe I need an analog stick. I have a game card
that I no longer use, maybe thats the ticket. Any suggestions would be
welcome
