F1RS is a brilliant game. The major drawback is that I have to setup the
car to get optimum performance. What a major drag. I just want to race.
But Guy C?t and everyone else involved in http://www.f1racingsim.com/
has come to my rescue by publishing setups for all the tracks.
Thank you
PJ
Paul,
I will agree that F1RS is brilliant and that the setups and enhancements at
f1racingsim.com add a great deal to the title, but don't stop there! Once you
are comfortable with a track and setup, try making some changes on the car to
suit *your* driving style.
For example, I was really comfortable with Guy's setup at Monaco except that I
could not get through Lowe's. A couple of degrees of steering lock did the
trick, my lap times dropped and I managed to get pole at the next race I ran.
Just a small change, but it made the car better for my driving style...ragged
as it is!
Have fun with the thing!

I agree, but have an off topic question. How do you get those special
characters (like the caret) over the letters in Guy's name???.
I could cut and paste it but just curious. (the only stupid question is the
one not asked);)
Do I need a special keyboard?
Thanks.

No Joe....the ASCII characters can be introduced by using the Alt key
plus additional keystroke. You need to find a guide for the character
gerneration keystrokes, that's all.

need. It is in Accessories from the start menu or run the program from the
run command, it is Charmap.exe in the Windows directory. You can copy and
paste or you can take note of the keystrokes when you click on each
character.
