Has anyone upgraded to Direct X 5.2 yet and how is it working for you?
TIA
Don
I have been hearing some mixed reviews about it. Some people have been saying
that it hasnt given them problems and some are regretting the day they
installed it. I myself had a strange problem with my cd-rom drive after
installing it (unable to read redbook audio properly on occasion). But since I
have just reformatted my HD, I installed it by itself and havent had any
problems to date.
As far as I know (someone please correct me if I am wrong), the only difference
is some runtime drivers and that is it. So unless you have got to have it on
your system, you may just want to leave 5.0 on until some new program calls for
it.

I upgraded to 5.2, and it seems to be working fine for me, not sure what it
did for me though .
