Adam Petty Interview (Marty at MRN)Adam Petty was in the garage
area this weekend, taking a break before his ASA race in
Nashville. So far though he says his season hasn't been what he
would have liked. "We just haven't had any luck, we've had
things break, and the driver has made plenty of mistakes too.
It's been fun though," said Petty. What will next year hold?
"Well, I've tested Cup cars, Busch cars and the Trucks and I'd
say the Trucks feel a whole lot more like the Cup cars than the
Busch cars do. I'm leaning towards a truck deal. I'd like to
run the whole truck season next year and there are some deals
on the table right now but I want to make sure it's the right
deal. Like Earnhardt, Jr. he's got the best dealI'd do
anything for that ride," says Petty. While he's not here yet
you can most certainly bet that the fourth generation Petty
will be in some form of NASCAR racing in 1999. For the full
story and comments by Kyle Petty, check out MRN with Marty.
