The Simulated Hot Rod Association is quickly becoming the "place to race"
for the Drag Racing Sim enthusiasts. Though Mplayer support for Burnout:
Championship Drag Racing is still not here, the SHRA has already begun
contests and organized races for the 500+ members of the SHRA.
Our last online meet was on Kali where 44 drag racers had the chance to test
their skills against others in an Open Bracket race. Other meets are being
planned for the near future.
As well as the online meets, SHRA has hosted its first contest. The driver
with the fastest SHRA legal Pro Stock ET was awarded a Thrustmaster Naspro
racing wheel and a free Mplayer PLUS account. There were prizes for the 2nd
and 3rd place ETs as well.
If you have not yet bought Burnout: Championship Drag Racing, joined the
SHRA, or are waiting for Mplayer support, you are missing out on many
competitions
