need help:problems modem racing with NASCAR2

I would appreciate any help anyone could give on this subject. While modem racing in N2.......if you pit under the yellow flag.....When you come back on the track....the spotter will tell you to stay behind a certain car...the #3 car for example..........while you are waiting for the car to pass you the pace car and the rest of the field will go by, putting you a lap down. Does anyone know a cure for this?

Try to pass him, then listen to what the spotter says.
