force feedback in EA racing games?

Anybody know what to set the force feedback for in EA racing games like F1 Challenge and NASCAR Thunder? When I set the forces to 100+, the feel is wrong; -100 seems to work better. Anybody else find this to be true?

Yeah, the old red LWFF is the exception - it uses positive.
