Okay, I've been waiting patiently for this patch, but now I'm getting pissed. Let's get the damn thing out the door, please - I WANNA RACE ONLINE! (and NO I do not want to race via Kali).

Well It's your loss. We have a lot of people racing on Kali who are having a blast, of course if you wanna run Heads Up on Kali you'd better be running 4.7's or better or all you'll see is other peoples rear ends ;^) Bob

Barry, all I can say is that you must have a hell of a good setup man doing your settings! :-) By the way, I've bettered mine to 4.495 at 332.52, guess i'll have to fire the game up again! Hvae to try and go for the 4.30's! Pete

Brian, we are using an 8 cylinder which is less than 800 cubic inches! Remember, you still have to be able to get the car to hook and pull all the way through the quarter mile! Bigger and more isn't necessary better! Pete

BTW, We are using 8 cyl. engines.

>are those of you running sub 5-sec runs using more the 8cyl????? >my poor old 55 is running 6.4 with a 865 8-cyl on meth???? Well to add my .02 worth, it's definitely possible to get "realistic" sized motors to go very quick in the game. I have a 66 Mustang setup that uses a 351 8cyl engine (slightly tweaked ;^) and will run 5.5's. So not only is it possible to do 5 sec runs on 8 cyl it's very enjoyable too. However I do have a 12 cyl, 4767 hp beast in the stable also, for those times the 351 ain't gettin it ;^) Bob

Brian, if your ever get to an NHRA drag race watch how the "stock" class guys do a burnout. No big smoke shows! A light dusting is all that is required. In fact the big smoke shows will slow you down signifigantly with the hp cars. If I do manual Burnouts I usually just do a couple of dry hops or chirppies. Doing them the same way everytime is what makes you consistant! Pete
