Anyone know if Papyrus plan on a management add-on for GPL? I realise
now I'm never going to qualify for a race, but I make a mean burger, and
there are some locations around this track where drivers just *love* to
stop. Might as well try to sell them some food while they're waiting for
the paramedics to get the cars off them.
Andrew... still to go under 1:15 consistently, and still to drive more
than three laps in a row without getting adventurous and going
walkabout...or should that be roundabout?
PS I sort of agree with some of the earlier posts about the lack of
apparent speed in the demo. I notice though that the grass has a far
"bolder" texture, and the sense of speed is far greater when travelling on
the grass down the back straight. I try and keep off it, obviously, but
I'm no stranger to that bit of lawn, and it's relatively simple <coff> to
keep off the throttle and get onto the track again at high speeds.
Talking of speed... I hope the final version has the option (as in N2) of
a speed display on screen. I find it invaluable in judging whether I'm at
the right sort of speed entering corners. I know it shouldn't be
necessary, but I'm only human ('cept on full moons or on a particularly
bad day at work).
