OK, guys...maybe someone can help me with this. First thing is, every time I try to run GPL, it starts Dial Up Networking. I've seen a fix posted for this, but it does not apply to MSIE 4.01..the connect as needed checkbox doesn't exist. Any ideas? Next, I've been able to actually drive the car a couple times...but it always ends up with the graphics frozen. The sim is still running, as you can hear the car respond to throttle, etc., but just a still picture on the screen. To recover, I have to use the reset button, not ALT-CTL-DEL. From what I've seen, about 1 1/2 laps, the framerate is great, and the physics model seems outstanding....but I want more! My system is a P166MMX, 32 MB RAM, witha Stealth II...and yes, I am running GPL in Rendition mode......thanks in advance for any help. Scott Moore

I had to do that after the first time i played and it locked up after 5 mins. but it might be something else of course:)

Scott, you may have to reformat the drive to completely get rid of the evil IE4.01. You can try just deleting every reference to it you can find, but it is an insideous monster. Argggh....the horror, the horror... Media Madman

Count yourself lucky! I get the same, only WITHOUT the lap and a half! Comes out of the pits at 2 fps and dies in half a lap :-(

Try bringing up win95 alone. Bypass all start up programs by holding down the shift key when the "clouds" screen appears. Disable any virus protection you may have running. This eliminates any conflicts you may have with other "NON RACIN'" software. GIve it a try.

Have you tried diabling the sound in the options.ini file? I had the same problem as you, & thats the only way I could get it to work.
