Damn I was close but stuffed up that last corner. This sim is the most
amazing thing. The thought of playing any of those other games now just
makes me laugh. GPL has been the easiest race sim for me to come to terms
with. Within one hour I was ringing the neck of the GP car and had gone
under 1.15 and each session this afternoon took off another second. I think
the reason for this was that I didn't have to work out someone else's
interpretation of what the car would do in a certain situation. In GPL the
car does what the car would do, its real and from the racing Ive done this
is exactly what its like.
You can feel the mathematics taking place though, whenever you get a wheel
on the dirt or touch the guard rail, the frame rate takes a big dive.

Jeez, I can't think how anyone could beat 1:10 at the Glen. Best I've
managed is a 1:18.88, and I don't know how the hell I did it!!!
