At first when I played F1RS, I was a bit annoyed at the lack of
failures. I mean, in races, I'd only ever witnessed engine failures, yet
in the options menu there are all kinds of failures.
However, F1RS implements failures quite well. Watching a race after
crashing out last night, I watched Diniz struggle to the finish without
4th and 5th gear, and Villeneuve race for the lead with a jammed***pit
display.
Unfortunately, out of the major failures, I've only seen an engine
failure (and perhaps an oil leak; I did see black smoke coming out of a
car once). Has anyone ever seen a suspension failure or electronics
failure?
