I read a post a couple of weeks back about flickering screen in CPR
running on Voodoo Rush cards. Didn't have such a card then, but now I
do, and screen flickers, so does anybody mind repeating what the fix
is?
ALT-F4 then go to add remove programs & delete it ! Then install the patch
I bet it will work now.

Got latest drivers for your card?
I also had this problem with CPR. The fix is to download the latest
reference drivers from 3dfx at www.3dfx.com for your Voodoo Rush
chipset. After installing the flickering went away for me. You could
also get the latest drivers from the board manufacturer's website, but
3dfx usually has the latest drivers first.
