Has anyone had any luck racing with Burnout over modems using
the modem to modem serial connection?
I've had nothing but problems.
First, the modem list in Burnout is garbage. All the modems
listed are 14.4 !!! Who uses 14.4 modems these days?
I had to make up init strings in order to make a connection
from a Supra 33.6 to a BestData 33.6.
After connection I start a race and I can chat with the other
modem racer but his name never shows up on the ladder, so I
end up racing computer racers.
Any ideas?
