The following is a query I received. Since I have yet to get a 3DFX
card (hope to soon), I can't give him a good answer. However, I can't
think of a reason why he can't run the Rendition version. I assume the
3dfx patch is a seperate executable. If anyone can help him out please
e-mail him or post the answer here and I will forward it his way.
Thanks.
Subject: N2 rendition / 3DFX question
Hi Michael,
I'm having a problem with Nascar 2 and I can't post to r.a.s, so I
thought maybe you could help me.
I had N2 installed ok, I have a Rendition card (Reactor 100), everything
working fine. Then I installed the 3dfx patch, and afterwards I haven't
been able to run it in the rendition mode, only the 3dfx. Do you think
the patch modified something that makes rendition not to work anymore?
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling without the 3dfx patch but it
didn't work.
Thanks,
Arturo
