The 1998 United Shorttrack Alliance is getting set for its frist race of
1998. The USA Series, formerly the ISTRS (Internet Short Track Racing
Series), will kick off the season at Bristol Motor Speedway with the 50-lap
Spring Sizzler.
The USA is a little different than most offline series, in that you set the
opponent strength (according to the rules). Most races are 30-40 laps on
short tracks, all no bigger than 3/4 mile. There are a few 25-lappers and 50
lappers, and one 100-lapper at Nashville later in the year.
We are still accepting drivers. You race against the cars painted by the
series' drivers.
If you are looking for a fun offline series that lets *you* dictate the
rules (to a point), come check us out at the URL below.
