Old TOCA demo questions again

2 posts by 2 people · 24 Mar 1998 - 24 Mar 1998

My work PC has a Rage Pro, so I decided to try the TOCA demo. I am not given a choice of resolution, only detail level. Is this right? Also, does the Rage Pro running under D3D support bi-linear filtering that everyone talked about? I am running the latest ATI Turbo drivers. If so, how do I enable this in the demo. At the moment the graphics are REALLY pixelated and look worse than the Playstation thanks Stephen

Yea, Certain drivers only allow certain resolutions. You can tell this when the FMV at the start is in a small window. Dont think so. TOCA uses 16 Bit Mode with the Rage, hence there isnt a lot of room for textures so it must squash them. Solution... Buy a 3Dfx (Voodoo 2) Bryan.
