Here's a couple of items I wouldn't mind seeing put into N3. 1. Cruise control for yellow flag laps. I know, it's a little nitpicky but, it would keep me from looking like a complete idiot when I bump Elliot's ass five or six times during a lap and then falling back a hundred feet. Give me cruise control so I can down a couple of swigs of Diet Coke with my free hand before all hell breaks loose at the green flag. 2. If Jack Nicklaus can include a Course Designer then Sierra can include a Track Builder. I realize you can only build so many ovals before they all look alike but, I wanna build a ten mile oval with forty degree banking in the turns with room to go four wide. Make Talladega look like a go-kart track. Those are my wishes. And seeing as how this game is slated for sometime around Christmas I think Santa Clause should give it to us. How about the autobrake just acutally working during pace laps? It would have to be smart, like only engaging when your within 10ft of te car in front, cause you need to catch up if you are behind. Speaking of autobrake, how about a text message along with the sound. I cannot distinguish between "on" and "off" in the voice. That would be cool, would be neat to be able to play around with different style tracks. Great idea! Another thing I would like to see, that is to me more important than spectacular graphics, is a more realistic mirror. Its SO important to know where the guy is behind you, I am just completely disappointed by both the ICR2 and N2 mirrors. I dont run Rendition, so maybe its better, but it would be nice to see more realism in the mirror. --Scott

Make Talladega look like a go-kart track. That JN3 Course designer is awesome, and I agree tht a track designer would be fun to play with. I'd love to see the setups and gearing used on your fantasy track! With speeds on the stretches and NASCAR 3's inclusion if physics tyo allow flips and rolls, you could see somwe serious airborn action if you rubbed a little too hard! Charles

I don't know how many times I've come out of the pit after a pit on the yellow, go flying around the track to catch up to the field, only to find out that the brakes don't work worth a damn. I'll come roaring out of a turn and see twelve cars magically appear right before my eyes and take out the last three or four. And I have a Thrustmaster wheel and brake set! The brakes aren't magic. Use F2 alternate display to figure out how far from the field you are. And if it's not about to go green, you have no business going over maybe twice the pace speed because you have *plenty* of time to catch the field. No one can pass you, so why go roaring off a ten-tenths when five tenths would do? Auto-braking won't fix this; it requires re-training the user to drive the car reasonably safely. :-) ---Jim
