Hello, me nad some friends have nascar2 and are trying to set it up in this
way:
Location #1
CPU Names: P233 <Win95>
P166 <Win95>
P200MMX <WinNT 4.0 PDC> <Modem>
All have IPX/SPX installed with default settings
Location #2
CPU: P200 <Win95> <Modem>
IPX/SPX installed with default settings.
ok heres the situtation: P233 Starts multiplayer Network|Answer
P166 Starts Multiplayer Network|Dial
P200 Dials into P200MMX Logins in and
starts nascar2 Network|Dial
P233 & P166 see each other fine. but P200 cannot see the game being hosted.
Second Scenarion
P233: Sets up Dial-Up Networking Server
P200 Calls into P233
P233 Starts nascar Network|answer
P200 Starts nascar network|dial
P166 starts nascar network|dial
P166/P200 can both see P233
P166 joins game
P200 tries to connect but gets connection failed.
Hard to follow ?
on the first scenario i created a subnet.cfg file and put in 00000000
because mine said 051bc755
When i connected in scencario 2 the subnet i seen was afffxxxx but i could
see p233 that time and so i didnt figure anything was wrong..
ANY IDEAS?
