I have read a lot of wish lists for GPL, N3 and CART3 but one wish
myself and a mate would love to see implemented in Papyrus Sims is the
ability to hold a Season over a modem with a friend and also the
ability to be able to PAUSE a race while linked over a modem......
This is possible, because GP2 allows this and it is the main reason why
we don't run 100% races in Papy's Sims while linked....
A small change like that can make the difference between having a bit
of a bash with a friend on a modem to a fully enjoyable racing
experience based over a full season...
Down here in Australia, we are not blessed with NROS etc.. so we get
our enjoyment from linking up with friends...
Being able to plan the whole season and race the whole season while
linked by modem, would be a big improvement to us who enjoy a bit more
than a casual dash around a single track....
I hope this is implemented in GPL, N3 and CART3
That is the main reason we stick to GP2 for modem racing, but i prefer
the feel and style of Papy's Sims...
Just one more thought, why, when saving a race in Papy's Sims do we
have to go to a Yellow Flag Pace Lap to restart the saved race?
This destroys any advantage you have in the race and makes the whole
'Saving The Race' a less enjoyable feature....
Oh well! I can only hope,
Cheers...
Ron...
