For what it's worth, here is what I needed to do to get the sound to work on my Acer. Go to the N2 sound set-up icon and select it. Select Sound Blaster Pro mono A220 IRQ5 DMA1. Select test sound and exit. Or in the alternative, start Win95 in ms-dos mode. Go to the sierra\nascar2 directory. Type "setup" and hit enter. My system autodetects a sound blaster card at A220 IRQ5 DMA1. Hit test to save the sound settings. You will hear no sound and the system will lock. Reboot. The sound should work in Win95. Hope this helps.
