Hi everyone,
Can someone please tell me once and for all how I can remove the steering
wheel and driver arms from any of the mods for F1C? I have my own arms and
wheel, I don't want another one :0)
GTR2002 had this function with a script, but no other mods have it. I know
you can edit certain car files to do it, but don't know which ones or what
to delete or remove.
Thanks in advance :)
James
You can remove the wheel with a steering wheel puller. As for the arms try
acid, or if you can stand the pain a circular saw should do the trick.

Ya know, I was going to be a smartass on this one too but decided that James probably didn't deserve it. On the other hand I did get a good laugh out of it!

James,
You can comment out the following lines in your f1car.gen file like
so... in F12002 it's in C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\F1
2002\Season02\Vehicles. There are separate ones for each season in F1C I
think, but as I am at work, I can't tell you at the moment.
In the example below, the arms are off, but the wheel is still on, as
that cockpit looks pretty stark without the wheel's LED readout.
If you change Movable=True to False, it hides it altogether, rather than
make it stationery.
Cheers, Glenn
