Hi all,
I thought maybe one of you might be able to help me. I was
recently given a F4 car on a trailer. Well the owner said it used to be
raced in a class called F4. Its is not a full size car but has 13" Italian
wheels. It has a Honda 650 twin engine with 2 side draft type carbs. The
previous owner ( a bit of a eccentric) bought it new and never used it but
once or twice to run around a empty subdivision. He is just a collector
sort of guy ;-) has Vipers, Porches etc. Anyway back to the car, he said it
was made by a Italian company named, Techno? He said they also used to make
a V12 car. I see on the roll bar there are some service type stickers dated
1980 I think tough to make out. They also say Vintage Motorsports in a
flying wing type of logo. Overall the car is in quite good shape a little
rust on some of the tierods etc. but not much. The nose cowling is a nice
Italian red. It has that low wrap around windscreen with the little bullet
mirrors. If any of you have heard of this or the company that made it I
would really appreciate any info. I can hardly refuse it as it looks like
such a fun project. But I am sure I will probably need to find some parts
once I get into it. Thanks, Mike
