Hi Simmers:
Visiware rep Laurant Weill responded with the following when I
asked him about Starting Grid.
I told him I would forward what I was told to RAS, so here it
is.

Yes definitly, as soon as we will know, for sure, the result of the
licence negociation, we will give all details and reply to all
emails (we have keep record of all who wrote to us), plus
rec.auto.simulators. which have been very supportive with us from
the beginning. Unfortunatly, right now, as we are only the
developer of the game, we can just wait for the publisher to
finalyse the deal with Foca.
And trust me it is hard to wait !
Thanks for your interest
Laurant Weill

So now we know... uh, I guess we still don't know anything do
we. He didn't seem interested in my offer to be a North American
beta tester.
Larry
Man this game has been said to be completed for like 16 months now...
I hope they will stop that publisher ***once and for all and release
the damn game because it will be really outdated when they do so...
One thing worth mentionning is the fact that they have 3dfx support
ootb...so that should be great...
I sure hope it wont be another powerf1....
