I'm wanting to know if I will get much of an advantage if I get myself a
dedicated game card for f1rs. ( i.e will it help my steering wheel and
pedals input?)
I also would like to know what is a reasonably decent card.
I'm running it on Intel 233 mmx 64 meg and monster 3dfx.
Any help wold be appreaciated

Get a dedicated game card if you NEED one. Such as if your
calibration drifts with time. Or in my case my computer would
not even boot up with my T2 pedals plugged into my gameport
on my Ensoniq soundcard. The TM-ACM game card manages
thermal drift (better components) and voltage much better
than standard ports on soundcards. But not everyone needs
one. If your joystick control is stable and you don't need to
recalibrate everytime you reboot, or every 5 minutes than
I think you shouldn't need one.
What problems are you having exactly?

I would definitely download and try out the "Propanel" utility from
Thrusmaster's website before investing in the game card. I have used
gamecards in the past, but after installing this utility, find I know
longer need it. I have no problems calibrating and using my T2 wheel in
pedals in win95, Nascar1 and 2, and Icr2. I also race online on Ten with
N2, and have no problems there either.
