I just had the chance to have a look at the soon to be released new
Grand Prix Legends AVI from Papyrus:
It's absolutely AWESOME. It's only 9 seconds long but it shows
a car crashing at (I think Kyalami but I may be wrong there).
The car hits a bank, slams into a barrier and gets airborne,
spins and dives through the air and catches fire!!!
The car takes no real damage (seems that the damage model is still
not implemented) but the physics of this rolling and pitching car
look so realistic.
I have never before seen a crash in a computer sim that looks THAT
realistic!
Everbody: download this AVI (6.6 MB the Hi-res version) when it will
be made available.
I don't know when and where it will be released, but I think it will
be soon.
