I recall reading somewhere that you can turn down the sound of the AI cars. Right now, their gearbox changing sounds like their hitting my helmet with a hammer. Does anyone know how to change this. -- Kevin (Remove the "x-" prefix from my address in order to reply via email)

Does anyone know how to change this. Edit F1RS\cpa\dll\snd_cpa.ini and change this line to look like this: SXD_DIST_FADE=15 Default value is 75. With it set at 15, you can only hear the AI cars when they are very nearby. Much more realistic and less distracting. Alison
A figure of 11 or 12 is even better.....but this is a personal thing, of course. -- Bruce. (At home)
