Hi sorry if this has already been asked & I missed it. What is the problem
with the revs going through the roof when you try and brake
( trail brake) before your completely off the gas? I understand that F1
cant be configured in 3 axis to keep gas & brake completely separated but
it doesn't happen in any other auto Sim I have. Anyone know of a fix or way
to configure around this? Thanks for any help. Mike

After one of the patches I now can switch my CH pedals to car mode
(joystick 2
using x and y axis). This made my day... ;^)

Never seen this happen. Are you sure you haven't got a bad pot that is
sending a spike?
(silly answer time: you're not downshifting too quickly, are you? <g>)
It can - I have my GP500 set up in F1RS with brake & accelerator on
separate axes.
Cheers,
Richard
Ya, that happens to me too......I've got a Sidewinder force-feedback
stick. Sometimes when I'm downshifting and braking, I'll let off the
brakes <returning the stick to the neutral point> and it'll floor the
accelerator and shoot me into the kitty litter! Most annoying,

Try setting up a car so, you can take that corner flat-out. It quite a
thrill and possible with 12/6 wings.
P.S. > About the problem, maybe you guys downshift too fast and rev up
the engine so the car cant brake as fast as it should. I haven't experienced
the problem you have.
Have fun

Hmm, I'll have to look for that in a replay - I thought I was having
problems just because I'm crap, got a ***setup, or just too busy
watching the big TV :-) I've not had the mysterious over-revving
problem there.
That's just about an identical setup to me, bar the different wheel.

I have had this problem too. Mostly when coming to a slow corner from
a fast straight. It seems like when you slam on the brakes the accelerator
just sticks, you have to quickly pump the brakes to get it unstuck. It could
be
downshifting too fast. But I have the same basic driving style in GP2, ICR2
and everything else. F1RS is the only game which has a stuck accelerator.
Perhaps it will only allow one button press at a time. So the brake is not
seen until I pump it?
